Workplace Safety & Health Coordinator

Job Description:

• Responsible in complying with and meeting all regulatory requirements by MOM, Workplace Safety and Health Act
• Responsible for coordinating with government bodies and other parties on matters relating to EHS
• Attend EHS meeting when required
• Responsible for EHS site audit/inspection
• Responsible for advising the company project coordinator in managing contractors, and ensure all activities are in compliance with the company’s EHS policies, and regulatory requirements before and during the work in progress
• Responsible to investigate incidents and recommend corrective and preventive measures
• Responsible in managing and conducting training, education, and campaign for promoting EHS awareness. Familiar with Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment, Safe work procedures, Root Cause Analysis etc.
• To prepare necessary safety report as requested

Job Information:

• 5.5 days
• 8.00am to 5.00pm (weekday) and 8.00am to 12.00pm (saturday)
• Construction Building – West area
• Able to commit within short notice
